MBT email messaging solutions utilize Exchange 2007 servers located at the MBT data center. BizTek™-Mail customers pay only for the mail capacity required, as the service is billed monthly on a per-mailbox basis. Mail users access their emailboxes over an existing internet service, using Microsoft Outlook to connect to the MBT mail servers. The system allows email access via internet web browsers with Outlook Web Access (OWA). It also supports “Outlook Anywhere” in which users connect to the MBT messaging servers from Outlook when traveling, or from home office computers that have the Outlook application installed. Users can also be integrated with existing legacy mail systems.

BizTek™-Mail supports several additional features such as secure email encryption, calendar sharing within the customer’s organization, and company public folders in Outlook. Email is 100% spam-filtered, and is protected against viruses by current virus scanning systems running at the MBT data center. Mail is never discarded (unless these discards are initiated by the user). All mailboxes are backed up nightly.
