Medicine Bow Technologies (MBT), an information technology (IT) company in Laramie Wyoming, is pleased to announce that on November 26, 2016 it will celebrate 10 years of business success.
In 2006, Laramie’s Ivinson Memorial Hospital Board of Directors founded MBT in 2006 to answer the regional need for a sustainable technology provider that could offer IT hardware support and services to Ivinson and other healthcare organizations. MBT graduated from the Wyoming Technology Business Center (WTBC) in 2011 and moved into their own premises. They soon expanded their IT services to business, government, and education and now boasts 28 employees in two offices with over 42 areas of IT expertise.
MBT is set for continued growth with its innovative programs to train new staff via internships, grow business, stay current with the fast pace of changing technology, and educate Wyoming business on IT security and how to protect their companies. This direction resonated well at the recent Governor’s Business Forum (November 9 – 11) where emphasis was placed on creating a 20 year plan for Wyoming to diversify the economy using technology and innovation. It is also supported by the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services Research and Planning Report for job growth in Wyoming through 2024, where Security Systems Analysts job growth is projected at 21.4%.
In short, the regional area needs information technology companies, like Medicine Bow Technologies, to support and protect other businesses so they can face this increasingly connected world and focus on their own business growth. MBT looks forward to the next 10 years of success, both for their customers and for themselves.
“I’ve been with MBT since its inception and it is exciting to see where we came from and where we are going. I want to thank our customers and employees for a great 10 years!” Luke Schneider, CEO, Medicine Bow Technologies
